Pm Pop-ups

Featured Replies

Hi, I notice that since a short while PMs are popping up automatically. Basically a good idea, however, the messages are partly hidden by ad banners and even more annoying, I cannot move the mouse cursor inside the message window. Only when I click on the message link top right (as I did in the good old days before the pop ups...), the spook is over and the message box is gone.

Any idea how to either disable those pop-ups or make them working properly?

I use WinXP and Opera 8.5.1

Stop using Opera. I have the same problem and it has been reported - several earlier errors with this new release were fixed but the advertising not releasing screen for Opera users has not been solved. :o

I don't know of Opera is rendering the pages incorrectly or Invision Power Board is not compatible with Opera. I have sent Invision a support ticket, and I believe they will have the Opera issues solved in a future software release.

Until then we recommend Firefox 1.5 or IE.

I have the same problem, annoying but not annoying enough for me to use a browser other than Opera. :o

hehehe..yes, I don't get that many PMs (yes, I feel ignored at times... :o ) so this bug won't stop me from using Opera.

Hi,

I just received a PM from the Opera Helpdesk and they were able to reproduce the bug. Their technical team is working on it, I'll keep you posted.

Cheers
