Bangkok Herald-Examiner

Rescue workers were called out yesterday to assist in helping a man out of a tub of honey at the Honey Inn Honey Company in Pattaya that he had somehow managed to stuck in.

Mr. Jai Dee, age 26, had apparently fallen in and was unable to free himself. In the end it was all happy smiles, as the rescue team were able to get him unstuck from the gooey vat. The company even provided him a free hotel room at their adjoining facility as compensation. As luck would have it, however, apparently the following morning, Mr. Jai Dee had managed to get his partner all sticky, but the substance didn't seem to be honey this time.

I've always regarded Boon Mee as the Master Fisherman.

He knows his quarry and their habits well.

He knows exactly which lure will catch which species of fish.

He quietly flips his lure into the Thaivisa river and starts to troll.

Sure enough, his intended quarry bites and bites hard.

He's too smart to start yanking and reeling in quickly.

Nope, he just gives a gentle tug to set the hook and reels them in slowly, enjoying their thrashings.

When the fish start gurgling back at him, he ignores them.

After all, they're only fish.
