Forum Pages Still Slow To Open

Featured Replies

A page takes about 40 seconds to open.

I've tried with a few different dialup isp and get the same results.

Is anyone esle experiencing this?

Not that I got lightning fast speeds previously but it never took this long...

Sometimes I have to stop and reload the page 2 or 3 times and other times it is OK.

I think most of my problems are that I am using AIS and GPRS and there are some times of the day when it can take 5 minutes to load a page.

I am accessing from an internet cafe in BKK right now, and it's full speed ahead here.

Penzman, it's propably CAT proxy/cache machines that make dial up access a low priority at CAT.

I sometimes get the same thing, or I have to reload them a few times because they just stop half way, and I'm using True (groan) ADSL.

It's not just the ThaiVisa website that is slow to load... most websites hosted outside of Thailand are loading very slowly, but local Thai sites seem to be OK.
