September 2, 201213 yr There's a three year old thread on this but I wonder if things are still the same. I am considering visiting Langkawi later this year. What is the parking situation like at the ferry terminal? Can you still leave your car for a few days? Is it secure? Is it safe? And is it still cheaper and easier to rent a car on the island rather than driving into Malaysia itself and using the car ferry?
