Thaivisa are hosting parties throughout Thailand to celebrate 10 years on the web.

It seems that K. Samui and K. Phangan and K.Tao are excluded from these parties.

Just wondered if there is any particular reason for the exclusion? Perhaps you can assist Rooo?

All I said was that Smokie has said in passing that he is able to knock up a good chilli, nothing more. I'll chuck in a large pot of seafood, smoked sausage and chicken Jambalaya FOC though. I'm sponsoring a somtam competition in Lamai at the end of the month.

Which returns to the question of interest as per the previous party thread. If I have a party I'll throw 10k at it just to get the ball rolling but I can't see TV being willing to do that. I wrote some more but I shall PM that because it may break forum rules.

Seems like a relatively small community here on this gem of an island so if we are going to celebrate then we should make sure we add the 'Samui style' to the event. Food supplied by sponsor which is cracking... if this is open to tender I'd like to put in a bid as I love food and if anyone checks my posting history then can see it is largely food related. What about entertainment? My ideal time is to spend all evening/night talking to interesting people with light music playing in the background but what do others want? Like Rooo I'm rather bemused by these exchanges. The OP was a simple question. Thavisa are hosting celebration parties throughout Thailand. Rooo is looking into the fact that we in the Gulf seem to have been left out, and might be able to rectify.

The last Tv party was very enjoyable and the way it was managed ensured that it was not full of freeloaders

Not only Haveli but the Emerald and Sweeney Todd....excellent food all round it was too!

I say wait until December. That little unloved place hosted the closing ceremony for the 10th anniversary of TV.
