Cycling In Yasothon Area

Featured Replies

Coming for a visit and while the missus yaks with her friends I'm hitting the trails. Would love to find some single track but any suggestions for nice rides would be appreciated. Planning on bringing my full-suspension xc bike but would bring a road bike too if there is any real good road rides.

I am 100 km away in Ubon. There is a Saturday morning ride here, or if you are about Sunday I'd be happy to show you what few bits of trail we have. Sorry can't be more help for Yasothon.

Thanks at this point we are planning a Tuesday to Friday visit but I appreciate the info and your offer.

Enjoy your riding!

@yakster..I'm in ubon too and looking for some good cycling trails, where do you meet on Saturdays and where are the trails?

The group meets at 7:00 a.m. at a coffee shop on Phalochai Rd. 50 metres from the intersection with Upparat Rd. Most trails are fire roads, but there is single track on the Warin side along the river, as well as a course on the Warin army base, Also trails near the soon to be zoo, and a course out that way. Send me a P.M. if you want my number. Oh most of the guys are roadies!! They generally leave me in the dust, but put up with my lack of Thai and slow speeds. Rides tend to be 40- to 60 km.

How far is where you are riding from Yasathon?

just over 100 km. Let me know your dates, as I may have some time off from work if interested.
