I didn't even know what an extension spring was, but thankfully goko springs came to the rescue: Extension spring are you found in garage door assemblies, vise-grip pliers, and carburetors. They are attached at both ends, and when the things they are attached to move apart, the spring tries to bring them together again. It's a bit Japanes/Thai /glish but I get the drift. Wot sort of springs you want ? your the smartest of the class right all the springs you just mentioned ar compression springs!!! Guess your not an engineer right well dont worry me neither i am just a cook so what do i know right. i need an extension spring of about 25Lbs or 2 smaller ones of about 10LBS each i am trying to make a machine that tosses something into the air like a catapult thing.
