January 29, 200620 yr I've a low tolerance for lactose, but I've noticed its particularly bad when I drink Thai milk over the stuff at home. A glass of 2% milk in Canada won't do much other than give me a mild discomfort, but one small 200ml milk in Thailand can really upset my stomach in a hurry. Is there something in Thai milk that causes this besides the lactose, or will regular suppliments like lactaid take care of it? cv
January 30, 200620 yr The main reason I suspect is that the UHT is not low fat but contains the same amount or more then regular milk. An interesting read for you here: http://www.healthyeatingclub.com/info/arti...-foods/milk.htm
