Many of the still reasonable priced ones, specially those with transfer in Dubai and Qatar, all get cancelled or delayed last minute. I know several people that at this point are waiting for 2-3 refunds on overstay. This while direct would cost them 2-3K euro, one way. Becomes quite a gamble when you think to have gotten a flight + book it, to then find out it never departs or cancels you days before + holds your refund for 4-8 weeks.
