Help With Honda Airblade Electric Choke / Bystarter Replacement And Vocabulary

Featured Replies

Hello,

I have about 4 year old Honda Airblade that is acting up. Whenever the engine is cold it takes some time (sometimes up to a minute) to get the engine running. After the engine runs if I try to drive it feels like the engine will shut down. I have to wait about a minute more to get the engine warmed up before I can drive.

I have gathered that the problem might be with the electric choke and/or bystarter that the airblade has. I'm not really sure about the terms though.

Anyway as I've talked with the mechanics they don't know the words in English so I was wondering if someone who knows could confirm changing/fixing the electric choke and/or bystarter might be the problem and what these terms are in thai. I can read thai so thai script or transliterations are both fine

Would be a huge help going to the honda shop tomorrow

Thank you!

Not sure what else you've tried, but had the same prob with the wife's bike and it was the spark plug giving the same prob's as yours

Dec 2007 airblade my was acting like that and it was dirty petrol.

Thanks for the replies. I'll get the spark plub changed too just in case, can't cost too much

This has been going on for couple of months and i've used several different gas stations. Can't see it being dirty gasoline ?
