Samui Island, or Ko Samui, in the southern province of Surat Thani will be the venue for the next mobile Cabinet meeting, the seventh of its kind under the Yingluck Shinawatra administration.

The meeting is scheduled for 21-22 October at International School of Tourism, which is part of Surat Thani Rajabhat University.

I am led to believe that a certain candidate for the next Samui election has borrowed an amount of 2 with eight zeros(baht) from a financial institution to attempt to 'win' the chance to manage/govern Samui. Couldn't believe it really at first but when I read that Samui District is seeking a 5-billion baht fund from the Cabinet it all makes sense.

Yes, last time they all had a great time in Europe searching for the 'facts'.

I hope they are made to go the whole way around the island in the airport mini-buses at break neck speed and not limo's, just so they see how good our roads are for themselves ...
