Hi people,

If you have already waited 3 months for the interview, do you have to wait again after the interview for the decision to be made.

I was under the impression that after the interview, the decision was made there and then, but after reading a couple of recent posts I'm not too sure.

Can anyone advise on this?

Applicants are given the result the same day as the interview and if successful asked to return later that day or the next to collect their passport and visa.

GU22 is right except on very rare occasions , i had one within the last year, when they want to think about it . Got a letter 2 weeks later refusing. So it can happen but unlikely.

Hi Ace,

You replied to me on concerning immigration to the U.K., on another section of this site: "Bullshit.....broken biscuits".

Why is the expert then asking advice?.

Interview : Collect passport same afternoon.

Think before open mouth. Read before turn page. :o

If you bothered to read other people's posts you would know that this comment was not directed at any remarks you made about immigration matters, but at your wholly inaccurate assertion that most Thais in the UK are working cash in hand!

Different name, different forum; but still a pillock.

I'm no expert, have never claimed to be. And I never said anything about collecting a PASSPORT the same afternoon. If you had bothered to read it properly, I was asking about a visa.

BBC-1 2030 hrs - 'On the fiddle'. 6/2/06.

Consider: this was filmed 2 years ago.

The staff in that particular restaurant have all been sent home.

On ' student' visas - but working 50 - 60 hours per week.

(Oh- student visa allows you to work 16 hours).

khun mii taa chai mye khun mye chop duu cheewiit. :o

Get real pal.

He's trying to say, "Don't you have eyes? You don't like to look at life."

Anyway, Rj's had his question answered and the thread is now deteriorating.
