Found one this morning when walking my dog over the jungle, unfortunately didn't have a spare lead and it then got startled and bolted. Never seen it before, in great condition and wearing a collar.

I know this is not much help to an owner, but if you have lost one, please contact me and I will happily take you to the area, providing you can fill in the gaps and prove that you are the likely owner.

I am not sure where you live BB, but there has been a big brown young male RR up around where we live (Plai Laem) for a few weeks on and off.

He regularly comes early morning (6-ish) and late afternoon early evening. Plays with some of the local dogs and rummages through the bins.

Our one also has a collar.

We think that he goes home during the day for care and food????

We suspect that our 'runaway' lives at Thongson Bay Villas (ex CoCo).

There was add somewhere and website awhile back selling Rhodesian Ridgeback's on the island because I remember trying to talk my wife into buying one but place we are at does not allow pets.

Yes, they were stunning pups and I would say this dog was most certainly from that litter. I find it very sad that any dog roams, but a pedigree such as this for sure should not be out on the roads. If it were my dog I would be frantic. I am gutted that I was unable to capture the dog this morning.
