Yes, it is. But, the teaching appears to be very effective. My friend can communicate with me in English very well now. She reads every night in English; however, she still has difficulty expressing herself in written English.

She is taking private lessons for two hours a day. The School also offers group lessons that may be cheaper.

In addition one can take computer lessons in Amphoe Muang Sukhothai on the weekends for one baht an hour. I do not know the address for this.
