Got the IPTV (Thai version) box on Monday from our forum sponsor (IPTV).

(Was being previously discussed here in this now locked thread.

http://www.thaivisa....s-subscription/)

Plugged it in to internet (using the leads supplied in the box) using my existing 4-port router and it worked straight off (no instructions).

Started off with the, enclosed composite video cable, upgraded to HDMI (not included), settled using a component video cable (not included) as my Tv has run out of HDMI inputs. All worked well, component and HDMI much the same quality (both good).

Live Tv

The streaming works perfectly (so far), no stutter, no pauses, no breakups at all.

HBO HD, Fox Premiere HD, Cinemax and a few other English channels included (usual burnt in 'true' Thai subs).

VOD (video on demand)

A selection of about 200 movies in HD (120) and SD (70), all dubbed into Thai, again works perfectly. Prison Break Tv series all seasons, dubbed into Thai. My family loved the movies in Thai.

Porn

Four channels of quite hard core, hidden away and password protected, if you don't know they are there, you can't find them. Not sure what language as mainly oooh and arg.

I was skeptical that this would actually work. but it's great, works without any problems (so far) ..... takes about 5 sec to change channels (buffer). Box is lunux based about 30 sec to boot up (same as my openbnox sat)

The HD channels seem as good a quality as True was before my openbox (satellite) went off.

Fairly frill free system, you can't customize anything or sort channel order.

But really good alternative to satellite system, no setup required, no dish, just a router and Internet connection (I have 3BB 10Mb connection) quite surprised how well it works really. Great for those who don't want to mess around with a sat. dish.

I've also tried playing movies off my hard drives through the (Thai) box as it had 2 USB connectors on the back.

16Gb USB Sandisk Cruzer thumb drive worked.

2TB Buffalo external drive also worked.

Wouldn't play .ISO files, but .MP4 and .AVI played without problems.

Also plays MP3 music files.

Did play Jpg photo files but very slow to load them.

Complete channel listing for my box (Thai box)

English Version has more English channels but costs more.

I'm currently having close to 800 channels on my own box. Can't elaborate because the OP's thread was promptly locked, which was probably due to requests from forum sponsors.
