TV-2 ~ video format 4:2:0

TV-3 ~ video format 4:2:0

TV-4 ~ video format 4:2:0

Satellite: Eutelsat W5 [Ku band] S1 Asia Beam

TV-1 now has live content on it;

For TV-1 you will need a PCI card or a special set top box that does 4:2:2 video format.

I have to say I have never ever seen such a strong signal anywhere on the "Tandberg Alteria" I am using here. Well done Eutelsat and the International Broadcasting Centre team.

No sleep for the next two weeks :o as the Ice Hockey in this format will be just magic.

more details here as they happen - http://www.jsat.tv/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1139573400

I surprised that UBC aren't showing it? I much prefer the Winter Olympics to the Summer games. Especially the skiing.
