Winter Olympic Feeds Are Now Free And Live On Satellite

Currently live and free to air are the Winter Olympic feeds from the International Broadcast Center in Torino in Italy. If your system allows you to look at the Ku Band then you will be able to see three channel with whatever system you have.

4 Channels in total, 3 FTA at the moment

TV-1 ~ video format 4:2:2 you will need a PCI card or special stb to watch it

TV-2 ~ video format 4:2:0

TV-3 ~ video format 4:2:0

TV-4 ~ video format 4:2:0

Satellite: Eutelsat W5 [Ku band] S1 Asia Beam

FREQ: 11425

POL: V

S/R: 27500

TV-1 now has live content on it;

- Sky Jumping

For TV-1 you will need a PCI card or a special set top box that does 4:2:2 video format.

I have to say I have never ever seen such a strong signal anywhere on the "Tandberg Alteria" I am using here. Well done Eutelsat and the International Broadcasting Centre team.

No sleep for the next two weeks :o as the Ice Hockey in this format will be just magic.
