whistling.gif Well your story is possible so being a nice guy I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.

Now if I WASN"T such a nice guy I MIGHT say you could have been on a long overstay and deliberately managed a way to get out of Thailand without paying the overstay fee,

Wonder which one of those two interpretations the immigration will want to believe?

Good luck,

Oh, by the way today is the 19th of December.... and you're going to a wedding on the 15th of December?

The last post from the op was on Nov 20th so would guess that his problem has since been solved.

I don't know why so many posters are sceptical about the op's experience. I find it quite plausible and wouldn't be particularly nervous were I in his shoes.

The mixing of domestic and international passengers on domestic flights has always seemed to me to be a weak point in Thailand's airport security.

should have cleared immigration in phuket for an international flight out, not bkk.

you dont clear immigration if its just a connecting flight and your not leaving the airport.

did you clear immigration in sydney, or just waltz in there too?

you have an uncanny ability to circumvent incompetent immigration counters me thinks. might as well ditch the passport as well.

I didn't get an entry stamp to Australia because I'm Australian so I didn't need one.

i smell a troll

As an American, I don't get an entry stamp back into the states....
