Chiang Rai To Lao Border

Featured Replies

Need more information....which Lao border would be a start.

The OP is probably asking about bus service to Chiang Khong, with a crossing into Laos at Huai Xai.

He may be.

or he may be asking about going to ChiangSaen or even the standard trip to KnongKai and Vientiene although this is one I would not recomend.

If he is thinking of ChiangKhong he may be intereted in this.

I willhelp him more if he clarifies.

You have a couple of choices.

Very cheap local bus from old bus station goes. Pretty slow.

A direct bus such as the one in the link. Would go from the new bus station out of town.

Go by green bus ( very good minibus) to Chiang Saen and then songtau to chiangkhong.

Boat from ChiangSaen to ChiangKhong.
