From the news flashes of the past year or so it seems Phuket is the place to be in Thailand. Not?

That is possibly because very little bad news from Samui makes it to the forum and even less to the local newspapers.

Die in Pukhet or pattaya and at least yo get a small corner in the newspaper/media.

Die in Koh Samui and you just fade away into oblivion.

PHUKET: -- Police arrested Israeli-Hungarian dual national Moshe David at a shopping mall in Bangkok today for the execution of Hungarian businessman Peter Reisz, whose body was found hidden with hands bound in a rubber plantation on Phuket on November 29.

Phuket Murder Suspect Moshe David Re-Enacts Reisz Killing

PHUKET: -- Moshe David, the prime suspect in the murder investigation of his former business associate Peter Reisz, this morning re-enacted the sequence of events that led to the death of Mr Reisz.

As with all public appearances since his arrest, Mr David was silent in front of reporters. However, Provincial Police Region 8 Commander Gen Yongyuth Charoenwanith announced to the press yesterday that the Hungarian-Israeli dual national had confessed to police to killing Mr Reisz in a fit of rage.

PHUKET: Phuket Provincial Police Commander Choti Chavalviwat has confirmed that police on Koh Samui have arrested Hungarian national Gyorgy Lajos Kvalka, wanted in connection with the murder of fellow Hungarian Peter Reisz in Phuket.

As for killing in a fit of rage. a rage made him so angry that he drove all the way to phuket tracked him down and killed him. i hope he has calmed down now.

Hungarian Suspect Kvalka Retraces Steps To Peter Reisz Killing

PHUKET: -- Gyorgy Lajos Kvalka, the second suspect arrested in connection with the murder of Peter Reisz in Phuket late last month, today reiterated to police his claim that he played no part in the killing of the Hungarian businessman.

However, Mr Kvalka today did confess to assisting the Israeli-Hungarian dual national Moshe David – named as Gabor Nemeth on his Hungarian passport – with disposing of Mr Reisz’s body and mopping up the blood at the scene of the crime.

Police, officials knew of death threats, alleges Reisz girlfriend

PHUKET: A woman close to Hungarian murder victim Peter Reisz gave her statement to Phuket police, claiming that Samui Police and officials at the Hungarian embassy in Bangkok were aware of death threats being made against Mr Reisz but failed to act appropriately on them.
