Red Light District, Bkk , Compare To Tokyo

Featured Replies

Hi was talking to a friend about Tokyo the red light district how does it compare to bkk red light districts like Nana, Soi cowboy patpong I am sure they have them just never been there in tokyo, The women do look beautiful in japan

From Wikipedia

At present, Kabukichō has transformed from a residential area to a world famous red-light district housing over three thousand bars, nightclubs, love hotels, massage parlours, hostess clubs and the like. Although referred here as a "red light district", there are no red lights in the literal sense with prostitutes in the windows as in Amsterdam. Recently, tourism from China and Korea are on the rise, and so, many tourists can be seen in Kabukichō even during daytime.

One thing is for sure, whatever is there will be an assault on your wallet. biggrin.png

They talk different. Same objectives, but they talk different..................wink.png

There is no comparison.

Ask yourself why so many Japanese men come to Thailand.

Heres a clue, check out the cost of a ST in Japan, as mentioned by another poster, the costs arent for the faint hearted or your average Japanese salaryman.

Half the Japanese red light stuff is not even available to foreigners.

No comparison; Roppongi is more like red light districts in New York and most other major western cities. VERY high priced and lousy service. And, IMO, Thailand is simply more fun and more western-friendly than Japan; the Japanese aren't exactly thrilled with us geijing...
