The concept of this thread is for members to post their suggestions for paired items of OUT and then IN things related to Thailand for 2012.

For inspiration and an idea of what I am talking about refer to an older Washington Post list:

The pairs should be somewhat related. For example, type of food to similar type of food. Pop star to pop star. Etc., etc.

This can be about anything related to anything in Thailand.

It could regional stuff as well, for example Chiang Mai specific.

Do I expect this thread to be a dud? Yes, I do, but I thought I'd give it a shot anyway.
