Boat Schedule For Sending Motorbike To Koh Tao

Featured Replies

Hi

I am planning to move from Koh Samui to Koh Tao.

Some Thai guy told me there is a boat leaving from Nathon to Koh Tao and I can load motorbike.

But I couldn't get the schedule and I don't know which boat is going to Koh Tao.

Does any one know the boat schedule to send motorbike and some big boxes to Koh Tao?

Regards

You have to use night boat runs most days or day time slow boat runs wednesday and Saturday , then you or another be at other end to collect and pay for your goods.

Always from Nathon

Songserm used to allow people to put their motorbike on the boat, they may still, worth asking. Not sure what time the Songserm boat leaves Nathon to connect to Koh Tao but I expect its the 11 am (ish)

I believe you can send a motor bike via the Thai Post Office too, might be worth asking there too...

Does anyone know if its possible to take a bike over to KPG with me? And if so, where I would need to get the boat from in Samui? Or so I have to head over to Donsak 1st?

For sure you can bring your bike with you to KPG with Haad Rin Queen boat (from Banrak pier) for 300/400 baht one way, plus your ticket 200 Baht.

Nope (unless it has changed in the last couple of years).

You can mail it to Chumporn or KPG post offices. KPG costs much more because it's an island.

Mail it to Chumporn and take it with you on the night boat. Ride off the boat and straight up the main street the next morning - fun!

Correct as Stiggy mention, Khun Dum

If you did not arrive in Koh Tao yet.

When you enter Nathon pier, the first boat on the right hand side, normally loaded with m/bikes and all sort of stuff being send to Tao.

Be there on Saturday morning before 9 am, load, pay and off you go. Arrive +- 3pm at Tao.
