There's another long(ish) walk is planned by the monk students at Mahachulalongkornrachawittalaya on 10th January.

Around 200 monks and a few also-rans will walk from the Golden Triangle to Wat Phrathat Pha Ngao in Chiang Saen following the riverside pretty much all the way. Departure time is about 08:00 and if history repeats itself, we should get there by about 15:00.

Hope you get more takers than you did for the November walk. Of course a few farangs won't be missed but I would bet they would get plenty of attention if they did join in. Probably a good way to meet some nice people in Chiang Rai, especially if you are newish.smile.png
