Dirty And Smudged Camera Lens.

Featured Replies

I had this stupid habit of putting my finger on the camera lens of the Galaxy S3 when talking on the phone. As a result the lens always needed cleaning before I could take a picture. I solved the problem by buying an extended battery. It cost $29.95 including the new cover. No problems since. It is comfortable to hold probably just because the phone is thicker. I really didn't want to thicken up the phone too much so I bought a 3,000 mAh rather than the more common 4,600 mAh battery. It is a Monaco battery so I don't know about the quality or how much longer, if any, it will last. So far (2 days) it looks pretty good. A premium battery is more than twice as expensive so I'll try this one first. The phone still fits in a soft pouch that I paid 100 baht for.

A forum is for information. Since a smudged camera lens was an irritation for me it's possible that others also have this problem. Battery life is also a problem with smart phones and extended batteries may be a great help to some heavy users. I try to offer helpful information rather than criticize other posters.
