Language Problem With Google Chrome

Featured Replies

First, can I please have some opinions about Google Chrome. Is it really better than the standard google search facility?

In fact I tried to install Google Chrome but it kept changing everything to Thai language (I am located in Thailand). Any secrets on how to make it all English?

Thanks for any comments and advice, appreciated.

To get chrome in English.

Click the icon far right of the task bar, just below the red X

Choose settings from the drop down list.

Scroll to the bottom and choose advanced setting.

Choose language and spell check option.

Select English.

Job done.

I have installed Google Chrome 3 times and it always gives me problems, ie the little egg timer on the arrow will not go away, scrolling up and down is absolute garbage, downloading five parts of something, ie a one hour TV show from the UK, one or two always disappear. I mainly use Internet Explorer, it is great for downloading, but on the Thaivisa and MSN websites,IE is very poor for scrolling, so I use Mozilla Firefox, but again, like Google Chrome, MF is really very bad for downloading. You really have to wonder why IE is great for downloading, and MF and GC are so bad.
