Looks like a rose to me, can't tell for sure without seeing the base of the flower and the stem and leaves.

As far as a name goes there are just too many varieties to consider. Jimmy may be able to help.

This one was taken using an in camera setting. It only separates red colours, none other.

mm by the way really nice desert rose. Mine are just starting to flower again and they had some really big seed pods.

What do you think of this ?
