Ron19
some great shots guys ^ my likes quota finished already today.... So for a change, my Jack fruit are smaller than Rons! but I have three>>.. Couple of things here.Firstly, the leaves on yours are completely different to the ones on my trees and I was wondering if they are different varieties. Secondly,we have picked four jackfruit off the one tree and this morning I had to take my shoes and socks off and added the middle stump to get to the 21 still left on the tree. I am not good at ID'ing some of these fruits, as you may have noticed I am better with shrubs and flowers (sometimes ) But my other Jack fruit is bigger than yours!
Popular Post Ron19
And here it is,the whole 15 kilo's of it with Abhisit standing guard to make sure that no one takes off with it. Thai Airways would have problems taking off with that monster. (The Jackfruit ) Regards. Edit: What colour is it? Yellow, orange, or red? I've seen Jackfruit much bigger than this one and as far as the colour goes, the wife is cutting it open today so I will let you know and maybe post a photo of it.I'd put money on it being yellow. Here we go.definately yellow and one of the best flavoured that I can ever remember.Perfectly ripe and not over sweet. Also, while it was being cut up three people saw what was being done and wanted to buy some.My wife said ok so we only finished up with a quarter of it for ourselves and to share with her sisters. I might add that you may have noticed some paw paws on the table. One of my sister in-laws is selling them from the stall in front of our house.

Goompa
To keep the birds away. See plenty of the scarecrows but the first time I have seen the nut clinking on a beer bottle trick. You would be well assured that the " nut " clinking on a beer bottle would have to be Goompa . I have been clinking on aforesaid for many a year now , also have scared many birds away as a result , Still , practice makes perfect ... and I am up for the challenge .

So for a change, my Jack fruit are smaller than Rons! but I have three>>.. Might have finally found out what these fruits are.Showed this photo to my wife and she said they are not jackfruit and called them săa-gay.When I put that through the translation mill,it came out as " Breadfruit " which are a close relative of the Jackfruit. ( สาเก săa-gay = Breadfruit )
