I feel sorry for this bloke (when I 1st came up here to live, I nick named him after that shit stirrer Chamlong due to remarkable look alike features including their hair style and it stuck) when 50% of what looked like a bumper crop was knocked down in a rainstorm. I know it's not a 100% loss but being probably two weeks away from harvesting, I expect that there will be some reductioin in yield.

Why his crop was singled out is beyond me,maybe because of the heavy seed heads or weakened stems through heavy fertilizing.

Have had some success growing Jackfruit from seed.These seedlings have since been planted out in between rows in our bananas

and I have given another 3 or 4 away. At this stage they appear to be having no problems associated with the transplanting but will

have to keep watering them till the rainy season comes along.
