Meanwhile,here's a couple of our neighbour's dogs up at their cassava farm.

Lovely dogs,but wouldn't go onto the farm alone,great security!

A few TV members have been involved in this story behind the scenes .... including Shaggy, Sunshine and some Samui members and non members !

There have been several dozen emails and PM's over the last couple of weeks or so! But a good end result....With special thanks to Sales and Marketing manager, Victoria, of http://www.miskawaan.com who footed the initial bill...

An old horse on Samui, that needed some veterinary care, meet with the vet today.... here are a few images!

As suspected it has worms, and two initial injections and a course of pills to be taken over the next few days.... It will take two weeks, to work and the vet will visit again!

The provincial vet who looks after animals from Lizards to Elephants on Samui, Phangan and Koh Toa...

Feeding pills to a horse is not easy! He spate it out a couple of times, even covered with a banana!

Son of owner of the 25 year old horse!

I would imagine all Provinces have such Veterinary services.... not easy for us farangs to track down! The Thai staff at Miskawaan Resort helped with that

The horse is down the road from me, so will will keep an eye on progress and post improvements !

this is one of the aviary with our new finches that me and mac have been building over the last couple of weeks, you did see a pic the other week of the kids helping us,

so its gone from that to what it is today, just a little tiddying to do on the outside, stripe to cover the wire joints ect,

but its looking ok and the birds love it, ive made and installed the nest boxes so should have eggs in a couple of weeks,

and jimmy im sure the vet would know that with horse you have to use different wormers for different worms and give a dose a week after the first one as the wormer will kill the worms but not the eggs and you have to re,worm them to kill what hatches before they reproduce,

my mum had a riding school and bred arabs,

same as i do with the pigs rea;lly you have to keep on top of worms in any animals, sheep included,,lol
