What Are The Odds Of Obama Making A Second Term Without Being Impeached?

Featured Replies

For the record: Obamacare IS constitutional.

But, the Obama administrations case for Obamacare WAS found to be unconstitutional as even that little old lady knew. It was only found to be constitutional if designated a tax, which the government has the authority to levy and which the Obama administration swore up and down it was not. Now, what' about this Holder guy.

In the court case, the Obama side did nothing of the kind.

Holder? I don't care. If he has to go, he has to go. Sorry. I do care about Obama. It would be a disaster for him to be impeached. Happily, you don't have anything on him.

Obamacare was deemed constitutional as a tax increase and that was the only means by which it came into law. The governments arguments were not affirmed. It should be called Robertscare as he's the one who lawfully implemented it in a pretty blatant stab at judicial activism.

Jeez. I assumed you could read. I was talking about the government's argument SPECIFICALLY in the court case. Your link was NOT RELEVANT.

It seems so to me.

Just because you like Obama doesn't mean that everything he does is good. He has juggled a dozen tricks into a very convincing magic act, but now it is beginn9ing to unravel. The next POTUS, of whatever party, will be forced to lift the rocks under which Obama has hidden his tricks, just to save the country and himself, not necessarily to attack Obama. But the truth will out.

I like Obama, yes. I don't worship him and I certainly don't demonize him. I think his demonizers greatly exaggerate any flaws that he does have.

For the record, I really don't think Obama will be convicted if he is impeached. It takes a 2/3rd majority of the Senate to convict and there is no way that many Democrats will vote against their messiah.

It will be hard to pin direct responsibility on him since he is always provided deniable plausibility on nearly all his decisions.

He is safe for the time being, INHO, until the next scandal comes out from under the rocks.

His legacy isn't going to be anywhere near what he is hoping for. His only two major pieces of legislation are a joke. Obamacare and Dodd-Frank are disasters waiting to happen...and the disaster will happen.

Try to impeach Obama, you silly republicans and your take of the Black and Latino vote will go down even more. The republicans think this is going to be a win for them. But at this rate they'll NEVER take the white house again.

Think about this. The first African American president in history and the party of WHITE people (you know which party I mean) goes on a WITCH hunt against him? Bring it on!

Before they impeach Obama,

They will have to pry him from my cold, dead hands.

Only one problem. It is not a witch hunt and now everyone knows it, It is a COVER UP.

I think I recall you thought Romney was going to win. sick.gif

IMO the Latino voters do not care about color they only care about being legal. The blacks and gays have more skin in this game and many of the gays are Republicans and are not the cool aid drinkers like some. At the very least he is being exposed as the corrupt Chicago politician he is which happens to be HRC training ground as well. It is total BS to call any party the white party unless it is the KKK

It's not BS. It's fact. Look at the voting patterns. Look at the faces at the conventions. People aren't dumb. They know.

On the gay thing you're also wrong:

"You betcha. "

Great minds think alike, obviously.

And one other.

It is now official. The Obama/media honeymoon is well and truly over.

Chris Matthews no longer has a thrill going up his leg when he speaketh of Obama.cheesy.gif

Chris Matthews sours on Obama
By DYLAN BYERS | 5/15/13 7:05 PM EDT
President Obama "obviously likes giving speeches more than he does running the executive branch," Chris Matthews said tonight.
Yes, you read that right: The MSNBC host who in 2008 felt a "thrill going up my leg" after hearing Obama speak has grown disenchanted. Tonight's episode of Hardball saw Matthews delivering a rare, unforgiving grilling of the president as severe as anything that might appear on Fox News.
"What part of the presidency does Obama like? He doesn't like dealing with other politicians -- that means his own cabinet, that means members of the congress, either party. He doesn't particularly like the press.... He likes to write the speeches, likes to rewrite what Favreau and the others wrote for the first draft," Matthews said.
"So what part does he like? He likes going on the road, campaigning, visiting businesses like he does every couple days somewhere in Ohio or somewhere," Matthews continued. "But what part does he like? He doesn't like lobbying for the bills he cares about. He doesn't like selling to the press. He doesn't like giving orders or giving somebody the power to give orders. He doesn't seem to like being an executive.”

So what? He's president. He doesn't have to like it and you don't have to like it that you are stuck with him until 2016.

Before they impeach Obama,

They will have to pry him from my cold, dead hands.

You betcha.

So that's a twofer then?

You seem to recall everything the way that suits you, I wanted Romney to win. I did not predict that he would.

"So that's a twofer then?"

This makes the second time today

That someone has discussed my demise

The first time when I mentioned that I was given to sitting in rice paddies watching water buffalo be picked over by egrets,

And now this.

Or maybe this is not about me.

I'm pretty sure you predicted he would win but too lazy to do the research.

5th month of a second term and Obama is running for cover lets see how long before he has no place to hide. Odds for impeachment are improving daily.

Odds of the republicans putting on a pointless political show increasing, yes. Actually kicking him out? No.

it's not up to the republicans. history has proven that the same weak back bone that makes liberal so pliable is the same thing that makes their opinion blow in the wind like a weeping willow. Once public opinion begins to expose Obama for the failure he is the Libs will be singing a new tune. Chuck D's post regarding Obama's biggest fan Chris Matthews finally sobering up from all the cool aide he drank at msnbc is proof of this.

Chimpsky does not dislike Obama.

Chomsky would not impeach Obama.

Chompsky does not vote

As he has stated so many times in the past

He only, once in a while, might vote in local elections.

But he never would advocate impeaching

For just acting typically Presidential.

Chomsky is very critical

But he would not impeach

That glove don't fit.
