I've been suffering from itching around the eyes for about a week now. I look like i've been punched in the face! I'm presuming it has something to do with dirty shower water.

Can anyone suffereing. suffered similar reccomend something for this?

I don't know what the problem is mate but I will suggest you don't put anything other than a saline solution near your eyes until you have seen a proper eye doctor. That might help prevent you rubbing them in the meantime.

I was going to suggest similar but isn't it true you can cause more damage by taking this stuff too much?

You may be thinking of decongestants. An antihistamine isn't likely to make it worse. May or may noit help, and if it does, adds to the likelihood that allergy is the cause.
