Can anyone please tell me where the best money exchanger is in Udon Thani?

I will be looking to change THB to GBP.

Also, will they exchange about 2 .5 million baht to British sterling.

For larger amounts like what you are talking about it would be worth driving the short distance to the super rich branch in Khon Kaen. Mind you there rate is slightly less then the super rich branch in Bangkok where you will get the best rate in Thailand. Check their rates online. Do a search for super rich 1965

At 2.5 million baht a difference of just .1 makes quite a big chunk of change.

Thanks, I know of super rich in BKK but not the one in khon khean.

Can I ask you this, have you or anyone you know ever purchased travellers cheques from a bank in British sterling and then banked them in their UK bank account?

It's something else I've considered if it can be done.
