Pull the other one :o

No replies, wonder why?

Maybe :D people are thinking if you took the trouble to "Search forum" you would find answers :o

Cheers :D

All the 5 Thai dentists I used over the years were careful and mostly painless (some preferred taking longer drilling when I was twitching rather than to give an injection). Holes cost between 800 and 1,400 THB, a big bridge & implant job at the Sri-Racha private hospital with x-ray and multi sessions and lab work about THB 12,000. why not try some dentists with filings and then follow your guts? Dentists were cheaper in North Pattaya, i found and taylors in South Pattaya. Despite my complaint about an ad hoc price hike, I found George Fashion to offer good measurements & value (they all seem to use the same sweatshop). I tend to order a few shirts & trousers every time and pay about THB 550 - 800 for shirts and THB 800-1300 for trousers, depending on the thickness of what appears to be one type of (synthetic) cloth. ** If you wanted higher quality fabrics, why not buy them elsewhere, like Singapore? Hopefully, others can respond more meaningful.

Well I've trawled through the search forum and haven't come up with anything much.

I guess Dr Cop would like to know members' personal experiences -as indeed I would. After all there's been enough threads about rip off dentists and tailors. So where are the good ones? Not an unreasonable request.

I was told that 'Smile' in Pattaya Klang is pretty good - anyone been there? (It's a dentist, not a tailor - don't need any tailors, got enough shorts and jeans to last me the rest of my life! :D )

I'm sure there is a tailor who is also a dentist or visa-versa in Pattaya, there seems to be many multi 'talented' people about. Or maybe find a dentist who works next door to a tailor and you can go in looking like worzel gumidge and come out like Tom Cruise at a wedding.

Following my own "sound" advice :D I did a search, :o

For some reason "Google" not as good as they think :D

I know I have answered questions about Dentists in the past, I recomended APC on Soi 1, and was informed "others?" thought he was a butcher :D

For what its worth, I still use him and IMO\experiences he is good.

Tailors - Mike's department store :D

Cheers :D

Well Chippie, in your line of work I am sure would know about all those clever Thai labourers who are also carpenters, can do a bit of brick laying, and can turn their hands to wiring up houses, to say nothing of a nifty bit of pumbing on the side. Their versatile talents never cease to amaze me. :o

many are also multi - ligual, although their Burmese tends to be much better than their Thai. Clever fellows tho'.

denatl hospital - bangkok. id never go anywhere else and i live in pattaya. they are not cheapest but they w/ bumrungrad the best and it is small money between average and teh best esp in western currency.

I'll ask some of them if they know anything about teeth extraction, sure they do.

All the tailor shops are run buy Indains who can't measure vary well let alone sew anything! They are just middle men! If you go behind the new computer building,I forget the name,it's on So. Pattaya Rd. across from the Tues- Friday market. Anyway behind that building they have a parking lot .In the shophouses surrounding the parking lot are about 30 Thai tailors who really to all the tailoring for all the Indain salesmen. Cut out the middle man! Fitted on site no waiting no price change!Take your pick!
