March 3, 200620 yr Big John Sea Food in Lipa Noi, entertaintment, ocean side & really nice food. Not too expensive either. Enjoy Interesting how opinions differ. I tried Big John Sea Food, and was not impressed. Okay, nice location, nice views. Had a guided tour, nice rooms, but the food was terrible! Okay, I only visited once, however, we do make up our minds on one visit! The food was terribly overcooked and thus tasteless. I had Barricuda, one of my favorites, and although a nice large piece, it was like a piece of cardboard. What a shame, as most sea food is better lightly cooked. Sorry for the negative post, but this was my impression, oh, and also of my wife who visited with me!
March 6, 200620 yr Who is running the best value flights from BKK, maybe a midweek excursion might be in order. These posts have certainly re-kindled my interest. Better than visiting family in Suratthani
