Be grateful for any advice..I am travelling to Pranburi..Sam Roi Yot for a month in March..A Thai friend told me that many of the beaches here have been polluted by some local factory...Any one heard any such news or any more information.Would be great to hear from someone who lives down there. .thank You In advance....Thomas

The beaches around the gulf of Thailand arent so great. On the Andaman Sea side they are much better

Any truth to the OP? Hadn't heard that the beaches in PKK "have been polluted by some local factory". I'm on my way there in a couple of weeks.

I live on the beach at khao kalok,water looks clean to me, i walk the beach every day,fisherman are catching plenty of fish (small) in their nets,no oil slicks or dead sea life to be seen

not heard a whisper of the factory rumour
