Anyone seen an Almond WiFi router in Thailand?

Just learned about it via the Almond+ Kickstarter project (ships in Sept); but the Almond router looks like a winner all on its own too

Almond has all the latest tech, is cheap ($79) and best of all can be configured via a built in touch screen. Why hasn't anybody though of this earlier?

Maybe they did but decided that it would be pointless?
