I'm just wondering where the prices will go.

In BKK prices are already at average THB 25.09/L and Upcountry up to THB 25.29/L.

Is this the end or can we expect further increases?

What is your opinion.

If the price of crude oil goes up diesel will go up. If crude comes down diesel will go down. If anyone figures out how to predict the ups and down they are in a position to make a LOT of money. As for my opinion oil prices are not going to go down in the immediate future.

I filled a hilux up on the singburi road yesterday , 25.29 at a JET service station , 1500baht.

the price hikes in fuel in the last year must be taking their toll by now.

and I think the prices will keep on rising - they are still not on par with most western nations

I'm also convinced that prices will further rise , but how much the economy can take?

Based on traffic volume I can not see any reduction due the high prices. TIT.

It will continue to rise sure

Definitely oil prices will rise. Meantime, diesel price will hold until election time, as it was the last election time.

as long as the oil comes from the middle east, gas and diesal prices will continue to rise on the world market. The only reason diesal prices have gone up so much in the past year is the government was subsidizing the diesal, and now it's on the f;oat with all the other grades of gasoline.

When I was a wee young lad back in the mists of time, petrol was 4 gallons for £1! The price of diesel/petrol may come down a little bit now and then but it will always have an upward trend. They don't need much of an excuse to put it up, Aunty Dot stubs her toe and up goes the price of oil.

Oil won't last forever, the faster it runs out, the quicker the price will rise. Eventually another form of energy to power our vehicles will have to be used, then they can continue to screw us on that as well!
