He only wants it for a long flight, he's not planning his final exit! As Sheryl suggested, Zolpidem 10mg will do the trick with no hangover like you get from the 'pams.

He may have meant alprazolam. That is a benzo and even more strictly controlled than zopidem. Highly addictive and serious penalties for illegal possession.
