wans Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 500b each, and the beach is so much safer and family friendly when theres only mafia drug dealers and pimps on it
Ohio Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 Another 'Clean up' of Pattaya Beach ...Hmmm , I think that is 27 times since 2009 .. Keep at it Boys Excuse me while I laff out loud
fakename Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 As long as the police are cleaning the beach, how about getting some of the plastic bags, and some of the dog shit, off the beach also! I think the 100 baht fine will really scare the thieves off the beach.
doggie888888 Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 They seldom put on such a big show when other nationalities get drugged and robbed. Hope the Turks were impressed enough to plan a return trip.
prestburypark Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 I was showing my sister Beach Road, back in November. It was her first time in Thailand. "All those ladies are waiting for a bus" I joked, she believed me, when told they were all working girls she was amazed by how many there were, and vowed not to let her husband here alone. My how we laughed.
Payboy Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 Known as the “Coconut Ghosts”, as they often hide in the shadows waiting to be picked-up by foreign customers Really? I always thought it was because of the huge nuts.
DiNiro Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 Get rid of the scammers and transvestites but leave the poor working girls alone, please. That's what Pattaya is all about.
EyesWideOpen Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 (edited) Standard police response for when a tourist is attacked..... Step 1. Tourist scammed, or drugged, or robbed by coconut girls/ladyboys Step 2. If this event actually hits the news, police schedule a big clean up Step 3. Round up whoever you can catch along the beach, and pick up a few thousand baht in fines to help pay for the mia noi. Step 4. Take some photos of the girls/ladybodys at the police station trying to cover their faces, and then announce things are cleaned up. Step 5. Go back to collecting traffic fines, wait for the bad publicity to die down, and hope all is forgotten before the next tourist is attacked. Edited February 28, 2013 by EyesWideOpen
EyesWideOpen Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 Get rid of the scammers and transvestites but leave the poor working girls alone, please. That's what Pattaya is all about. Maybe my imagination, but it sure seems a lot of crime stories start with a lady boy on beach road.......
