Protein

Featured Replies

does someone know where to buy protein (to build muscle when training)?

there's a health food shop downstairs in Tops supermarket that sell protein powder.

Many of the pharmacies now stock a thai brand (Power Nutrition)

but it's still expensive at 1400-1700 bt. a tub.

Tony's Gym has local and imported powder for sale (about 2000 bt.)

I'm pretty sure that O/S protein powder was not allowed (illegal?) until recently, and maybe still is. Not sure why as the only side-effect is massive weight gain if you're not training.

Tops is the supermarket on the crossroads at 2nd Rd and Central Rd.They only used to sell pretty basic whey powder.

It just so happens that I have a 1 kilo tub of chocolate flavour Nitro-Tech by Muscle tech left over from when I used to have time to go to the gym.

A friend brought it over from the States for me and it is yours for 2000baht .

It's at my shop on the crossroads at 3rd Rd and Pattaya Thai if you want it.

OK, I think I now! Thought there are many, but I know this one.

For yours.....

Maybe I pick it up, but don't count on me. Actually I should be in Pattaya every weekend, but it happend that I wasn't there for 5 weeks due to my work.

But if come and don't forget, it sounds fine, if it is not to old (for every month over "best before" I cut you 20 %, lol).

I bought a home exercise thing and some weight and will buy more (if I find something great).

I think you can work the same efficient at home. What you loose on the techn. side, you win because you don't need to go somewhere. And you can do say 1 hour, 1 hour brake and than again.....

Try Golden Gym in 3rd Road near South Pattaya Road.

Or just ask the guy who owns it what he uses (he's a big <deleted>)

He uses his own stuff, but not only the protein... :o

Meat, fish, soya beans, eggs etc. ... What you got against Food ?

Naka.

Just check the actual protein content in %. sometimes "100% Whey Protein" is printed but the content is below 40%. My mother ran a hospital pharmacy and they bought 88% milk protein for patients. It helped me lose weight, mixed with fruit juice, it tasted good. Avoid the cut stuff. There is a lot of hype - make sure you get a high % source.
