I think most of the service providers here closed their public access SMS gateways years ago.

There are many paid services, Telemessage, Clickatell, etc., which allow for this functionality, so an email could be forwarded as an SMS, or you could create some sort of rule to generate the SMS. You'd have to pay for this; it does work to both AIS/One-2-Call and DTAC/Happy.

If you have a Google Voice number you may be able to originate an SMS based on a gmail? I do receive SMSes here sent to my U.S. Google Voice number.

Are you unable to retrieve emails on your phone?

Thanks for your answer.

About Google voice I have to look more, I did not really understand.

Yes I have email on the phone. But I want to be warned of certain events by SMS (not lost with other mails, and I guess SMS more reliable that my Internet connexion..)

Otherwise I'll go Telemessage or Clickatell...

Thanks
