Basketball In Chiang Rai

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,

I love to play basketball but the school I work at always empty specially during holiday season. I recently moved here so I dont know any places, when I was in BKK, Lampang, Phayao I had no problem finding place or people to play with, but this city looks different.

So far I have yet to find park or anything with basketball court. Can anyone tell me any places, it doesnt matter if it is indoor or outdoor.

Thank you

Checkout this Basketball topic. In it Twentybaht recommends trying the old airport in the evening.smile.png

Yes I have seen this one today in the morning on the forums, just wonder if there are more places.

In that case you are welcome and I guess we will have to try harder in the future, to be of service. No doubt many others will come along with better advice.smile.png

I went to check out that place close to the airport. Well big problem is the people they are very good at basketball, however they have their group and even if they take you in nobody passes to you, they just play among themselves which I really really hate.

arent there some courts at the old prison-turned-park?

I lost interest when the OP went from loving to play basketball and having no problem finding places or people to play with in other cities, to complaining that players in Chiang Rai are too good and won’t pass him the ball. Talent and personality are important for being able to insert oneself into an established and competitive sporting environment. Perhaps one or both of these necessary attributes are lacking.coffee1.gif
