any old timers out there that used to be a "GI" in thailand in the early 70's,remember this thai baht ?

GI's departed Thailand sometime after 1975. I came over here in April 1975 to visit my daughter and flew in a military airplane to get here. I flew into Korat that trip.

Was here up to 73 but memory is a bit foggy about what the baht looked like then.

Here at the same time at Korat. F-111 bomb loader and AC-130 gunshop. Dollar sure went a long way back then. Even at 20 baht to the dollar, things were still pretty cheap.
