I see a few people seem to think Wes Turner is scampy, does anyone know this for sure? His comments in the family forum would lead me not to believe that scampy is wes, it just doesnt seem his style to be posting racist coments.

I've read all of Wes Turners posts and am 100% convinced he is not real. His idiot and implausable topics about sidecars for jetskis, ichy backs in the shower and winning the Canadian lottery (to name just a few) remind me of the type of imagination and humour TGS posseses.

I have strong doubts about a couple of other posters as well. Blabbel and Uma are two of them.

Although I see that Wes apologized in the parent Forum thread. He said it was the booze talking. I don't think Moog would ever apologize. Moog is not PC.

I was in the Chat room this morning, Wes was there too. I asked him how the jet-ski side-car project was going.

He said he didn't want to talk about it because he had lost a bunch of money on it.

As another chat room member pointed out, TGS wouldn't have a pile of money to waste on a project like that.

Also, can't see TGS wanting to wrestle crocodiles.

I cant see TGS doing any of the above...

No Tots. I haven't met him, but their writing styles are different.

Scamps fancied himself as a bit of a writer. His language was usually florid, with the philosophy of "why use one word when five will do".

Wes is not so eloquent.

Look at the topics both have started. Scamp was interested in people and their relationships.

Wes just wants to wrestle crocodiles, or, invent something bitchin'.

I really do think they are two separate people.

If Scampy is back on TV with an alias, Uma or Blabell is more likely. It would be just like him to come back as a female.

When TGS stayed in phuket he told me how he likes to create characters and play out their parts, there was one instance when he had a long conversation on a thread, with himself, using two different nicknames.

He's shrewd enough to adapt his writing style slightly for each different 'character' he wants to play...

If I had to guess though, I definitely agree that Scampy would try to come back here in one form or another. He was drawn to this place and relished his notorious reputation. Who he is though is something I do not know. He was smart enough to change his writing style to throw off any guessing. He was most famous for his style, if thats what you consider it, of writing.

I dont think there is a nasty bone in him but he gets in bother by being annoying to the wrong people (on thaivisa at least) If he is back under different personas then he's doing a good job of keeping quiet about it, all the other times he has managed to give himself up.
