Long Term Rental Needed

We are looking for a long term (one year or more) rental house in Hua Hin. We would prefer a home around Soi 94, but will consider any location between (and including) Pala U road and Soi116 on the west side of Phetkasem (nothing north off the canal road please) or anything from the King's palace to south Takiab on the east side of Phetkasem.

We would also prefer to deal directly with the owner.

Ideally it would be a 3 bedroom with a small yard for two outdoor dogs. We don't care about a pool but need a place to park two automobiles so if the property does not have parking for two there needs to be curbside parking in front.

We would like something in the 20k price range with occupancy available on or shortly after the 27th of this month (April).

Please PM me with any prospects and to arrange for us to have a look at any houses.

Thanks in advance,

hhf

Have you tried driving around the areas you desire to stay HHF ? Many private owners put notices with phone numbers on their gates. My friend did this yesterday and has found a 2 storey town house on Soi 94 for 10,000 p.m. that he is seriously considering.

Yes, we drove all over all of the back streets on both sides of Soi 94 and many other areas and to my surprise there were only a very few rental signs, unlike a couple of years ago when they were plentiful. In fact there were signs by realtors all over the place saying "rentals needed" so I assume that at the moment the rental market is not flush with homes.

My wife has put out the word in her Thai network and we have a few prospects to look at in the next few days, but driving and looking for signs seems harder than it used to be.

I noticed the same last year when I was looking for a house. Over the years its always been a doddle to find a house: just jump in the car and drive around, there have always been lots of signs everywhere but last year it was really hard. There were not too many signs up and it took me weeks of driving around to find somewhere.

Anyway, i think your sorted now so well done and welcome to Soi 94 area :)
