An official commission tasked with investigating a blaze that killed 13 students at an Islamic boarding school in Rangoon earlier this month has released the results of its final report, defending earlier claims that an overheated voltage regulator sparked the blaze and saying two teachers would be charged for negligence, the New Light of Myanmar reported Thursday. At a press conference Wednesday, Myint Swe, chief minister of Rangoon Division, said the commission had gathered testimony from students, the two teachers and an Islamic organization. The state-run newspaper said parents and five major Islamic groups accepted the findings.
