Bangkok-Donsak By Van Or Mini Bus

Featured Replies

A group of 11 people including children plans to travel from Bangkok to the Donsak Pier at the beginning of July.

Can anyone advise a person or company providing private van or minibus service with driver?

Thank you

From Bangkok, Suratthani airport, train station , bus station ?

They will spend a few days in Bangkok before leaving. From Central City Bangna to Donsak Pier.

Vip bus or the night train would be more save and enjoyable than a mini van i think.

Or Lomprayah High speed ferry from Bangkok on their VIP bus, then ferry from Chumpon... very scenic route that stops at Koh Toa and Koh Phengan

web link here... http://www.lomprayah.com/E/route.htm.... worth checking out.... as an alternative way of getting here.

How about self drive - http://www.budget.co.th/vehicles.aspx

Look at a one way hire with something like

or even hire a driver.

mind you - 11 plus luggage in a minibus is going to be 'cosy', but you could even stop over for a night or two.

from Bangkok to the Donsak Pier... private van or minibus service with driver

maybe Bangkok forum can help. There are many privat bus services in Bangkok, which bring you from Bangkok to any place in Thailand

I will prefer 24 seats VIP bus. This bus has good seats and lot o space for the legs. The train take lot of time and you maybe wait for transport fro Suratthani to Donsak.

apart from private minibus or flying, train is best, 2nd class sleeper a/c/lower bed/combi tickets for train/bus/ferry, no waiting.

It's a nice experience, cheap, cosy and quiet. Bus is much more dangerous, less comfortable, can be very loud all night, can be very cold, unwanted break in the middle of the night for soup, maybe wait in Surat Thani for change the bus to Donsak.
