Bangkok Bus To Lahansai

Featured Replies

Does anyone know which bus to take to get to LahanSai south of Buriram please, and where to change if necessary?

You don't seem to be getting a response here in this sub forum. Let's try moving it over to the Issan forum and see what happens, OK? We can always move it back here later!

Topic Moved.

Get a bus driectly from Bangkok to Buriram, Nakornchai Air, are the best. That will take you into Buriram Bus station where you can then change to a bus that goes to Lanhansai.

There are also minibuses that go from Buriram bus station to Lanhansai. They are a more comfortable and quicker.

Idea. Your on the smugglers border so unless you want a bus with chickens hanging from the back suggest you take Nakhonchaiair (NCA) from Bangkok to Buriram and from Buriram connect to a local to Lanhan Sai. NCA goes from BK to Surin and BK to Ubon by different routs such as highway 24 and by Prakhon Chai, they just may let you off at Prakchon Chai. You'll need to ask. NCA has its own terminal in BK a short distance from mochit.

If you want to take the blue aircon bus I suggest you go to Moi Chit bus station go upstairs to desk 26 and get a ticket to Prackhonchai (about 370 Baht). At the prachonchai bus station then get a bus to Lahansai via Ban Kruad. This bus starts in Buriram and goes via Prachonchai. Wait at the North West corner of the central bus parking area. Be advised that the last bus departs about 6pm, so you will need to arrive prior to that. About 6 hours from Bangkok, then one hour to Lahansai.

Many thanks for that. Seems unnecessary to go all the way to Buriram and then back to Lahansai; Prachonchai seems the best bet. Thanks again.

Going to Nang Rong and changing there is quicker than all the above options from my experience.Going to Prakon Chai means you will double back on yourself.

This is a little old but still perfect advice.

In Nang Rong ask for Lahan Sai, only a few bat from there (along a horrible road!)
