This happened yesterday, here in Gatineau, Canada.

A corner store near the bar where I work was held-up last week, it ended up in a stand-off where one of the robbers was shot to death in the middle of the street, he had been pointing a fake gun at himself and the surrounding policemen.

This store has been hit a few times in the last couple of months and has been under surveillance for a while.

Yesterday, again, 2 idiots tried robbing the store, using a stolen car, they were easily spotted as the licence plate had been reported stolen.

They tried to drive away, going around the neighborhood, chased by a few police cars. Without knowing, the driver of the stolen car headed down a dead-end street, spun around only to face the police again.....

They were trapped between a dozen police cars and the gates to..... THE CITY JAIL which is at the very end of this one-way street.

and they say crime doesn't pay
