I hope so ! My 2 cents only, but these "decline" threads are a bore. An example:

Fan A-"Your club is in decline".

Fan B-"Isn't".

Fan A-"Is too. You have too much money and your manager is a knob".

Fan B-"We made all our money fair and square by selling lemonade to the disabled".

Fan A-"Didn't".

Fan B-"You made your money in the derivatives market !"

Fan A-"So. Nothing illegal about that !"

Fan B -"So says you !"

Fan A-"I saw your sister with a monkey yesterday".

Fan B-"You shouldn't say that about Bale".

You get the drift...full of sound and fury, signifying nothing !saai.gif

Farewell to my least favorite manager in the league.

Horribly dressed, no humor, always whining about something.

Topic title changed.

This is the only Stoke thread and I don't forsee many posts forthcoming purely related to Stoke and their decline. So instead of limiting this topic to a discussion about Stokes decline, let's leave it open to any discussion about Stoke.

Cheeky f*****! Of course there will be posts about Stoke in Decline! Without Pulis they are a grotty bunch of championship players, and if they get some monkey like Hughes managing them, they're well worth a punt for the drop.

Only Wenger left as a long-standing Premier League manager. Pardew was appointed 2½ years ago and is now the second oldest hand.

Perhaps the EPL clubs should move to monthly contracts for managers!

had some good nights at shelley's back in the day. other than that the place is a boghole.

keep an eye on benitez by the way. his priority has always been remaining in england and preferably staying in his north-west home than moving abroad.

Hope it works out that way. The Stoke fans are about the only redeeming feature of Stoke City FC and they deserve a boost.

Would Rafa take the Everton job if offered Stevie? Would Liverpool fans disown him or applaud his continued commitment to Merseyside?

I was about to say that the Everton job would be more attractive, but I suspect there might be more money to play with at Stoke and a less difficult act to follow. Can't understand why some Asian or Arab investor hasn't stepped in for Everton.

i don't think benitez would take the everton job mate. the majority of sensible liverpool fans would never 'disown' him because he's one of ours but there's a section of the fans who never really loved him and are indifferent. but i just don't see him taking it, he's too close to too many people in the city i think.

guess which club has the third highest net transfer spend over the past five years? outspent only by man city and chelsea.

Now that is an interesting one! If Real came knocking for Ancellotti then they might aswell start looking for a new manager. They would offer Benitez a very decent side in situ, loads of cash both in his pocket and the transfer market and CL football.

He'd be nuts to turn that down, and even if PSG would like to keep Ancelotti, if he wants to go, he'll eventually go.

And what was all that coming out after everyone else, to loud cheers?

Everton?

Won't happen. More chance of seeing Arsene Wenger in an iron man contest

What, the fans that were booing Ramsey off the pitch as he was taken off on a stretcher after having his leg broken by that thug Shawcross?

They're scum.

I didn't say there wouldn't be any posts about Stoke in decline. But seeing as there isn't any other Stoke thread, comments about everything related to Stoke can be made in here.

Begovic to Liverpool - Downing potential part of deal

Have Man U lost interest in Begovic or have Real Madrid lost interest in DeGea?

I've read that DeGea is likely to stay at United
